We carry out a myriad of advocacy, mostly against cultural bad-practices. Most localities in Cameroon are still involved in cultural practices that violate the right of women and children. FGM. Breast ironing, unsterilized circumcision are practices that are rampant in Cameroon.
In a bid to curb such practices, we advocate at the level of the local leadership and at the level of policy makers. In this light;
- We proactively reach out to victims and educate them;
- We provide a platform for victims to speak out;
- We champion online advocacy and mobilize assistance
- We make public statements through naming and shaming.
We created a mobile app and chat space for victims of HIV-Stigma, which is a culturally related phenomenon, via the Blind Chat project.
